Symbiosis Institute of Telecom Management (SITM) was established in 1996 and is now a constituent of the Symbiosis International University (SIU). The institute is a pioneer in the field of Telecom Management in entire SAARC region. It endeavors to develop World-Class Telecom Business Leaders who can address the needs of a constantly changing business scenario in a technical field, such as telecom, with ease. The institute envisions becoming the preferred destination for all who aspire to become world-class telecom business leaders. The college keeps widening the students' horizon by regularly revising the syllabus to be in sync with current technologies and meeting the demands of the corporate world. CCNA is included as an integral part of Systems and Finance curriculum in association with CISCO. Seminar, workshops, summer projects and industrial visits are incorporated as a part of academics. The emphasis is on all round personality development, which includes improving communication skills, fostering teamwork and inculcating an attitude of becoming an achiever. The primary focus of the institute lies on three basic components: Management, Telecom and Information Technology coupled with financial knowledge to develop self-motivated individuals who would handle the dual responsibility of managing both, business and technology.
